The most famous zoo is Safaripark Beekse Bergen. It has been voted the best zoo in The Netherlands. It is an animal park located between Tilburg and Hilvarenbeek.  In terms of area, it is the largest animal park in the Benelux. About 100 animal species are kept, ranging from small mammals to large birds. Definitally worth a visit!

Dolfinarium Harderwijk is a dolphinarium in Harderwijk in the Netherlands. It is the largest marine mammal park in Europe and attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. With its famous dolphin shows, this is a unique experience!

Ouwehands Zoo is a zoo in Rhenen in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is built on the Laarschenberg on the east side of the city. In Ouwehands Zoo you really get to know animals by meeting them up close. Meet the giant pandas and be the beast yourself in the play jungle RavotAapia.

Artis is the zoo of Amsterdam and the oldest zoo in The Netherlands. Artis is located in the Plantagebuurt with the entrance on Plantage Kerklaan. Enjoy the animals and nature in the middle of the city. A fun day out for all ages.

The Rotterdam Zoo is located in the residential area of Blijdorp, with polar bears, red pandas and an underwater tunnel from which you can observe sharks. 

Bird Park Avifauna is the first and also one of the most famous bird parks in the world. Bird shows are performed at different times in the park. This park is definitely worth a visit for both children and adults!

Koninklijke Burgers Zoo is a zoo in Arnhem. The zoo was originally called Burgers Dierenpark and is also simply called Burgers. Burgers has a number of 'ecodisplays': imitations of the ecosystems in which the animals and plants live in nature.

Apenheul is a zoo with monkeys on the outskirts of the Dutch city of Apeldoorn. More than 300 monkeys of about 35 different species that are native to Africa, South America and Asia reside in the park. Many of the animals are not locked up in pens: mesh or bars are hardly visible.

DierenPark Amersfoort is a zoo, located on the west side of Amersfoort, on the edge of the Birkhoven forest area. The park has an area of approximately 20 hectares and more than 800.000 visitors come every year. 

Wildlands in Emmen is one of the newest zoos in the Netherlands. The zoo opened its doors in 2016 and you can travel the world in 1 day. You will encounter all the animals from different areas around the world. Because the zoo has only been open for a short time, everything still looks brand new. There are also various attractions in which you are taken into the world of animals.
