About Expat-Netherlands

Expat-Netherlands wants to help expats who come to live in The Netherlands to feel at home as soon as possible.

Our website is launched in 2022. The idea to start this website was many years earlier. We are a small group of Dutch people who have many foreign friends who came to live in The Netherlands. Every time we heard the same thing. Namely, that they missed the overview of what needs to be arranged when they came to live in The Netherlands. Therefore, we have made a "Top 10 of things to arrange when you arrive in The Netherlands".

And also during their stay in The Netherlands, our friends missed a simple overview of the answers. Our foreign friends indicated that the information on the current excisting expat websites was too much and confusing. There is too much unnecessary information and text.

We wanted to do something about this. We wanted to do something different than the websites that already exist for expats. Not too much information that is of no use to you. Instead, we wanted short, concise articles with useful information, written in a handy overview with handy listings. In addition, we want to keep the webpage well-organised so that you know exactly where to find what. We hope that we can help you with your questions by the information on our website!
